dealing with recreational water monitoring
Quality data are not easy to generate, competition is keen for available research and
operating funds, and technical report writing does not come naturally to many scientists
and program managers.

My experience in these areas can be applied to your immediate needs. You may be
interested in developing or refining a program in microbial source tracking of fecal
contamination (MST). Your qPCR protocol may not meet your data quality needs. You
may need training and scientific understanding of recreational water quality standards or
the methods used to monitor recreational waters. You might want better understanding of
what the regulatory arena may look like after the projected USEPA recreational standards
revisions in 2012. Or, you might simply need some help improving a manuscript or
proposal.

My mission in the consulting field is to provide the specialized technical assistance that
many programs do not maintain on permanent staff.
